Territory Trims

A mobile, sensory adapted salon.

Our flagship service. Territory Trims is a mobile, sensory-adapted personal care and salon service that brings professional hairdressing directly to the client, in a calm, adapted way, wherever they are most comfortable.

For a lot of people, a standard salon just doesn't work. The noise, the lights, the wait, the lack of control over the environment. What should be a straightforward appointment becomes something to dread or avoid altogether. Territory Trims takes all of that away.

Territory Trims is for anyone who finds a standard salon difficult

  • People with autism or sensory processing differences

  • People living with anxiety or mental health conditions

  • People with complex support needs

  • Older Territorians and aged care residents

  • Anyone who cannot get to, or get comfortable in, a standard salon

Pricing

Pricing depends on the service, location and whether the session is privately paid or NDIS funded. Get in touch for a personalised quote

NDIS Disclaimer

The NDIS does not directly fund haircuts or salon services. Support worker assistance with personal care during a Territory Trims appointment may be claimable under NDIS Category 01 (Assistance with Daily Life). Please check your plan or speak with your support coordinator to confirm what applies to you.

Community Access Support

Being part of the community matters. We support participants to get out, connect, attend appointments and explore activities, with someone beside them who knows them and works at their pace.

Assistance with Daily Activities

Some days, everyday tasks take more. We work alongside participants to support their daily routines in a way that respects how they want to live, not how a system thinks they should.

Respite

Carers carry a lot. Territory Together provides respite support in whatever environment works best for the participant, at home, in a hotel, or somewhere else entirely. We look after the person so the people who love them can rest.

Transport

We provide flexible transport support to help participants get where they need to go, whether that is an appointment, an activity, school, work or anywhere else.

Personal Care Support

Personal care is personal. We provide respectful, dignified support with personal care needs, delivered by someone who knows the participant and how they like things done, not a stranger reading their file for the first time.

Mentoring

One-on-one mentoring for participants who want to build confidence, develop skills and work toward goals that matter to them. Entirely individual, entirely led by the participant.
